-Head SCM is responsible for all Local medium scope Site SCM activities in all process units and associated support functions such as central Site Logistics, Order Fulfilment, Order Desk, Customs and Foreign Trade. -Leads a team to support functions and is responsible for SCM Processes and SCM Performance in line with valid SOP’s, HSE and GMP rules. Establish a clear and effective Business Process ownership within the organizational unit in line with Novartis Operational Standard for Supply Chain Excellence. Member of Global SCM Platform team and Site Leadership team. -Regional Coordinator is responsible to optimise the Supply Chain in terms of service, proceses and cost.Cluster/country head manages the Supply Chain function in the CPO(s) and leads a high performing local supply chain team. -Supply And Operations Manager Medium/Small Site -Lead the SAndOP monthly process at site level to ensure the validation of a manufacturing plan (production and quality release of active substance) at a tactical horizon, guaranteeing an optimal balance between the demand for active substance and the operational resources. -Lead the site operational excellence journey to improve the performance, productivity, quality in order to ensure the site competiveness. -Site Supply Chain Lead Medium/Small Site -Accountable for the effective execution of the Supply Chain Processes performed at Site and the related SC services received by the NTO organizational units (Operations Centers, Logistic Hub and Site Development) in order to ensure Site Supply Performance at the expected standards and compliance with valid NTO’s GOP, HSE and GMP rules. -He / She chairs the Demand and Supply reviews according MRP II /NOSSCE standards -Operations Manager Medium/Small Site -Lead the site operational excellence journey to improve the performance, productivity, quality in order to ensure the site competiveness.     

About the Role

Major accountabilities:

  • Front-End, Network, Product Management -Ensure implementation and maintenance of best practice supply chain standards and processes within and across organizations.
  • Contributes to the demand Review with the customer (Global Supply Chain Management) in order to identify major changes and trends (ie products, volumes) to be taken into account in the site's “Supply Review” -Support all Process Units, SCM and support functions, and join plant/country/cluster Leadership team and Global Platform SCM Leadership team Responsible to optimise Supply Chain in terms of Service, Processes and Cost to meet required Customer Service Levels and provide superior results at the lowest possible total Supply Chain cost.
  • Responsible to define Site specific SC services’ requirements as part of the formal SLA between Site and Ops Center -Ensure implementation and maintenance of best practice standards and processes across operational and tactical planning -Ensure implementation and maintenance of best practice supply chain standards and processes within and across organizations.
  • Facilitates the search for alignment at site level in the case of divergent proposals concerning the use of the site's capacities in the medium and long term, by identifying in particular slots available in production and by facilitating the sharing of resources (staff, equipment, material) with the support of the Manufacturing unit Heads -Lead Supply Chain projects to create, implement and continuously improve core processes and standards -Act as Business Owner of Supply Chain Tools and Systems, nominate local business owners and super users to ensure governance of the processes of the unit and align the related position’s key accountabilities with global Supply Chain BPO directions and ensure local business owners contribute to the continuous improvement of the defined Standards providing inputs and actively participating to Global initiatives.
  • Logistic, W And D -Responsible for Novartis TechOps Regional Primary, Secondary and Manufacturing Sites Warehousing And Distribution (WAndD) -Define, implement and manage TechOps WAndD regional strategy in its Region.
  • Define, lead and implement all cost reduction and Service Level initiatives to meet high level standards and budget expectations.
  • Responsible for optimizing our warehousing and distribution network, drive synergies between the different divisions and improve performance -Ensure NTO businesses comply with Customs and Trade laws and regulations by supporting issuance, implementation and management of Standards and Policies covering commercial and non -commercial materials.
  • Support and perform risk review assessments, provide guidance and drive timely closure of recognized gaps arising from internal, external as well as CTC controls in NFCM.
  • Work closely with CTC Country Managers as well as local CTC community in the region of responsibility.

  • Delivery Performance -Throughput Time -Inventory Level (WIP, Cost) -Quality-First Time Right, Release Rate and Cost Efficiency Savings -HSE (Occupational Accident Rate) -Customer Service Level -Stock-outs -Inventory Coverage -SC Costs -Write offs -Forecast Accuracy and Bias -OTIF, Stock Adherence -PCE and HC Budget Targets, Warehouse & Distribution Budget -Launch & Transfer Execution -LCM projects status -On time launch -Strong interface between NTO and Franchise/Commercial Operations (feedback) -NFCM, GxP and regulatory compliance -Toll reconciliation variances -Relevant month end /year end performed without discrepancies -Master data quality (accuracy, completeness, consistency and timelines -Regulatory compliant Master data, no recall, no deviation, no stock out caused by Hub Master data -On time creation and availability of Hub Master data
